The Serpenti is BVLGARI’s snake, usually worn as jewellery. MB&F turned its head into a watch, and this edition is dark all over except for two red eyes.
Those eyes tell the time. They are domes of paper-thin aluminium: the left turns once in 12 hours for the hours, the right once in 60 minutes for the minutes. Five curved sapphire crystals shape the head, and a flying 14 mm balance swings just above the eyes.
The case is black PVD-coated stainless steel, 53 by 39 mm and 18 mm high, water resistant to 30 m. Inside is MB&F’s own hand-wound movement, with 45 hours of power reserve shown through the sapphire caseback.
On a hand-stitched black rubber strap with a titanium buckle. Limited to 33 pieces.
