In rose gold, the BVLGARI Serpenti looks most like the jewellery it comes from. MB&F gives the snake green eyes and a matching green strap, and leaves the shining to the gold.
The eyes are the dial. Each is a paper-thin aluminium dome turning on its own: the left shows the hours over 12 hours, the right the minutes over 60 minutes. Above them, a flying 14 mm balance keeps the beat.
The 18K rose gold case measures 53 by 39 mm and stands 18 mm tall, water resistant to 30 m. MB&F’s hand-wound movement runs for 45 hours, and its power reserve indicator sits on the back, behind sapphire.
The rubber strap is hand-stitched and closes with an 18K rose gold buckle. Limited to 33 pieces.
