Description

The NASA Tribute takes the Digitrend into the Space Shuttle years. Its white ceramic top shell recalls the tiles that protected the orbiter on re-entry, over a black DLC steel case that carries NASA’s ‘worm’ logotype.

The display is pure Digitrend: the hour and minute discs turn flat inside, and a sapphire prism on the side reflects them upright and magnifies them. Hours jump, minutes trail.

Power comes from a Soprod Newton P092 automatic and AMIDA’s 9-component in-house module, good for 44 hours. The case is 39.6 mm by 39 mm and 90 g, water resistant to 50 m. Limited to 100 pieces.

The strap pairs leather with technical fabric and closes with Velcro, the fastener NASA used to keep kit in place in zero gravity. On Earth, it simply keeps the watch on.
