Description

At the centre of the Helix sits a one-minute tourbillon whose hairspring is coiled as a cylinder, a true helix, so it breathes up and down rather than in and out. The domed sapphire crystal leaves it room to stand proud.

Either side of it, two retrogrades run on gently curved tracks: hours on the right, minutes on the left. The long blued serpentine hands are openworked to keep them light, and each snaps back to zero at the end of its run.

The D51 is Hautlence’s own calibre, wound by a micro-rotor, with 65 hours of reserve at 3 Hz. The Grade 5 titanium case is 37 × 45 mm and 11.8 mm thick, with no lugs, water resistant to 10 ATM. Limited to 28 pieces.
