Description

This is the icy blue LM Perpetual EVO: a light blue dial plate that replaced the earlier green, in a titanium case with no bezel, where the domed sapphire meets the case directly.

EVO means it was built to be worn. A FlexRing damper between case and movement absorbs shocks, the crown screws down, and the rubber strap was made for this case. Super-LumiNova on the hands and markers helps after dark.

The calendar is Stephen McDonnell’s, built for MB&F around a mechanical processor, with a safety system that stops it being set wrongly. Day, date, month, retrograde leap year and power reserve sit around the dial, with the 14 mm balance suspended above. Hand-wound, about 72 hours, 44 mm across.

A perpetual calendar water resistant to 80 m, which is not a sentence we write often.
