Peacock Green does not stay green. Tilt your wrist and the CVD dial plate shifts through blue and purple, which makes it the livelier of the two titanium LM101 EVO editions MB&F made for its 20th anniversary.
EVO is MB&F’s word for the version built for everyday wear: a 40 mm Grade 5 titanium case, a screw-down crown, water resistance to 80 m and the patented FlexRing shock absorber. The 14 mm balance still hangs above the dial, with white gold hands on the two black sub-dials below.
The hand-wound calibre, the first MB&F developed entirely in-house, now runs 60 hours on a slipping mainspring barrel, with a Straumann® double hairspring and hand-finishing modelled on the 19th century.
On rubber, with a titanium folding buckle.
