Legacy Machine Perpetual Chromatic Blue Sapphire

The MB&F LM Perpetual Chromatic Blue Sapphire Edition takes one of the most important perpetual calendars in modern independent watchmaking and gives it a colder, sharper electric edge.

Crafted in 18k white gold, the 44 mm case is framed by a bezel set with 48 baguette-cut blue sapphires. Each stone is hand-set by STG Création in Geneva, creating a brilliant blue halo around the LM Perpetual’s suspended balance and open dial-side complication.

Inside is the fully integrated perpetual calendar calibre developed for MB&F by Stephen McDonnell. Instead of using the traditional grand levier architecture, the movement relies on a mechanical processor that starts from a 28-day month and adds the necessary days as needed. Cleaner, smarter, and far less dramatic when it comes to adjustment.

The blue PVD-treated hands complete the chromatic story, tying the gemstone bezel back into the movement display without softening the watch’s mechanical theatre.
