We chose it because the diamonds know when to stay quiet. There are 12 baguettes standing in for the hour markers, yet on Warm Grey guilloché and a 36.1 mm steel case they read as detail rather than decoration. It is the Tonda PF for someone who wants sparkle only when they go looking for it.PRJKT8
The hour markers on this Warm Grey dial are 12 baguette diamonds, FG-VVS and 0.36 ct in all, set into rhodium-plated appliques. From a distance it reads as a grey watch; the stones show themselves only when the light finds them.
Under them, Grain d’Orge guilloché gives the grey a fine barleycorn texture, and the skeletonised delta hands let it show through. The steel case is 36.1 mm across and 8.6 mm thin, with the Tonda PF’s knurled bezel in 950 platinum.
Inside is the PF770-HM, Parmigiani Fleurier’s own automatic calibre, at 4 Hz with a 60-hour power reserve and a skeletonised 22-carat rose gold rotor behind sapphire. Water resistant to 100 m, on a steel bracelet.
