We chose it as the evening Tonda PF. All rose gold, a Sand Gold dial, and diamonds that follow the bracelet rather than crowd the dial, so it reads as a bracelet first and a watch second. Underneath, it is still 8.6 mm thin and still a proper automatic.

The watch

On this Tonda PF the diamonds leave the dial and travel. Brilliant-cut stones run from the crown down the sides of the bracelet, 232 in all, getting smaller as they go, each sitting flush in its rose gold setting.

The dial is Sand Gold, hand-guilloché in the Grain d’Orge pattern, with 12 baguette-cut diamonds for hour markers and skeletonised delta-shaped hands in rose gold. Case and bracelet are 18-carat rose gold, 36.1 mm across and 8.6 mm thin, and the clasp shows the PF logo in gold, framed in diamonds.

Inside is the automatic PF770-HM, with 60 hours of reserve and a skeletonised 22-carat rose gold rotor, seen through the sapphire back. Water resistant to 100 m.
