For Parmigiani Fleurier’s 30th anniversary, the Minute Rattrapante comes in 950 platinum, case and integrated bracelet, with a sandblasted Natural Platinum dial that absorbs the light rather than throwing it back. Limited to 30 pieces.
The function is the one from the steel models. A second minute hand waits beneath the first; the 10 o’clock pusher adds 1 minute, the 8 o’clock pusher adds 5, and the interval ends when real time catches up. The crown pusher returns it out of sight, and the dial goes quiet again.
The automatic PF052 has a 22-carat rose-gold micro-rotor and 48 hours of reserve. 40 mm across, 10.7 mm thick, water resistant to 60 m.
Platinum is heavy. You notice once, then you stop noticing.
