Louis Erard introduces Le Régulateur Gravé Noir
Louis Erard turns to a 1930s archetype for its first sector-type dial, engraved in black and rose-gilt for the brand’s Noirmont Métiers d’Art line.
Louis Erard today introduces Le Régulateur Gravé Noir, part of the brand’s permanent collection rather than a limited run. It is the brand’s first sector-type dial, engraved with a brilliant galvanic treatment across concentric circles.

The grained black dial sits inside a 39mm polished steel case with 5N rose-gilt indexes, numbers and railroad tracks. Fir-tree hands and a fir-tree crown nod to Noirmont, the brand’s home in the Swiss Jura since 1992. The case is water resistant to 5 bars, with a transparent black case back over the movement.
Inside is the automatic Sellita calibre SW266-1, its oscillating weight openworked and finished with the Louis Erard symbol in black lacquer. Manuel Emch, who leads Louis Erard, calls it “a complex dial in its simplest form.” The name is a quiet promise: a dial built from circles and lines, kept legible at a glance.
