Endeavour Aventurine Tourbillon Steel

The dial is aventurine: a man-made glass with fine shards of metal caught inside, so it glitters like a clear night sky. Against it, a one-minute flying tourbillon turns with no bridge above it.

Everything else is kept spare. Hours, minutes and the tourbillon are all the dial shows, in a 40 mm steel case.

Inside is the automatic HMC 804. Besides the tourbillon, it carries Moser’s patented double hairspring: two identical hairsprings that compensate for each other’s positional errors. It runs for 72 hours and is water resistant to 30 m, on an alligator strap.

A tourbillon is there to cancel out gravity; this one gets a whole sky to do it in.
