Description

Purple guilloché, cut by hand in Lucerne, inside a case of black DLC-coated steel. The Purple Panther is the loud one in the Open Gear family, and it knows it.

The dial is built on two levels: the hand-guilloché plate below, and skeletonised train-wheel bridges screwed straight onto it, so the regulator’s wheels turn in front of you. Hours sit off-centre at 12:00 under a funnel-shaped aperture, minutes run from the centre, seconds turn at 6:00.

Behind it runs the automatic calibre C.299, with a pink CVD rotor and a 42-hour power reserve. The case is 41 mm by 13.85 mm, water resistant to 100 m, on Cordura with a folding clasp. Limited to 50 pieces.
