Description

Most of what you see on this HM9 is sapphire. The metal is reduced to a frame of 18-carat yellow gold, and through the clear shell the movement shows its green PVD finish.

Five sapphire crystals do the work of a case: three form its body, one covers the dial and one is the vertical dial itself. MB&F joins them with a patented three-dimensional gasket and a bonding compound, so it is still water resistant to 30 m.

The movement is hand-wound, with two balance wheels beating independently and a planetary differential that averages their rates for the hands. Two spherical propellers spin beneath it, and the whole engine sits on shock-absorbing helicoidal springs. 45 hours of reserve.

Limited to 5 pieces, with a yellow gold folding buckle.
