We chose it because it lets you watch a chronograph at work. The blue dial is open, the C.741S behind it is skeletonised as well, and the case is 23 parts of Grade 5 titanium, so all of that weighs less than you expect. It is the Opus we would suggest for every day.PRJKT8
The Opus has always been the Chronoswiss chronograph you can see through, and this one does it in blue. The dial is skeletonised and CVD-coated, so the counters, the date and the movement behind them share one view.
It is a bicompax: a 30-minute counter at 12 o’clock, a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock, small seconds at 9 o’clock and the date at 3 o’clock, read with Breguet losange hands. Behind them, the calibre C.741S is skeletonised too, with black galvanic bridges.
It runs at 4 Hz with about 46 hours of reserve. The case is Grade 5 titanium in 23 parts, 41 mm by 14.80 mm, with screw-in Autobloc lugs, water resistant to 100 m, on Cordura.
