We chose it for the case. Count the parts and you get 23, all Grade 5 titanium, with screw-in lugs on the Autobloc system and an onion crown you can actually grip. The dark green skeletonised dial is the bonus: you can watch the chronograph think.PRJKT8
Most chronographs keep their workings behind the dial. On the Opus, the dial is mostly window.
It is skeletonised and CVD-coated in dark green, so the chronograph shows through around the Breguet losange hands, the 30-minute and 12-hour counters and the date.
The case is built from 23 parts of Grade 5 titanium, satin-finished and polished, 41 mm across, with a partly knurled bezel, an onion crown and screw-in lugs on Chronoswiss’s patented Autobloc system.
Inside is the automatic C.741S, skeletonised too, with about 46 hours of reserve. Water resistant to 100 m, on a Cordura textile strap.
