Description

HM12 The Guardian Blue feels like MB&F went back to its sci-fi roots, found the toy robot inside the watchmaker’s brain, and gave it 1,500 components.


This is not just a watch with a display stand. It is a complete mechanical concept: HM12 is the robot’s head, while The Guardian is the body built around it. The watch detaches from its strap using a quick-release system and clips directly onto the 38.2 cm robot companion developed with L’Epée 1839.


Inside the watch is an in-house automatic calibre with flying tourbillon, instantaneous jumping hours, trailing minutes, double-sided micro-rotor and an independent mechanical face shield system. The shield is operated by the left crown and can be opened, closed, or stopped anywhere in between.


The Blue edition brings a cooler, more futuristic character to the HM12 universe. Mechanical, playful, extremely complicated and slightly ridiculous in the best possible MB&F way.
