Legacy Machine 101 White Gold Purple

The LM101 represents the distilled essence of the Legacy Machine philosophy. Conceived and developed entirely in-house by MB&F, the movement’s aesthetics and finishing specifications were defined in collaboration with Kari Voutilainen, blending traditional haute horlogerie discipline with MB&F’s three-dimensional architecture.

The 2021 editions refine the design by removing visual excess. The larger bezel and Legacy Machine engraving were withdrawn, allowing the slightly enlarged sub-dials for time and power reserve to take centre stage. Paired with colorful dial plates, the result is a clearer, more focused display that prioritizes function and balance.

Suspended above the movement is the LM101’s defining feature: a monumental 14 mm flying balance wheel fitted with four traditional regulating screws. The 2021 models introduce a ©Straumann double hairspring for improved concentric breathing and long-term stability, while dark NAC-finished bridges provide depth and contrast beneath the light purple dial. Classical, restrained, and unmistakably MB&F.
