The Endeavour Minute Repeater Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton is H. Moser & Cie. at its most uncompromising. Rather than hiding its complications beneath layers of restraint, this piece brings everything forward: the minute repeater, the hammers and chimes, the flying tourbillon, the architecture of the movement itself. Open, exposed, and impossible to ignore.

Housed in a 40 mm titanium case engineered for acoustic performance, this is not skeletonisation for decoration’s sake. Every opening, every bridge, every contour serves a purpose. The minute repeater has been reworked so its chimes and hammers sit dial-side, transforming the mechanism into both a visual and sonic performance. The case has been hollowed and optimised to act as a resonance chamber, while titanium’s light and rigid properties help preserve vibrational energy for a fuller, clearer sound.

At 6 o’clock, a one-minute flying tourbillon fitted with a cylindrical hairspring adds another layer of technical depth. Rare and difficult to produce, this type of hairspring traces its roots to marine chronometers, improving isochronism through its concentric geometry. Here, suspended within the openworked calibre, it feels almost theatrical — as though the watch is breathing through mechanics, sound, and motion all at once.

Then there is the contrast only Moser would dare to introduce: at 2 o’clock, a domed Funky Blue fumé sub-dial interrupts the exposed movement with a quiet flash of colour. It softens the complexity without diluting it. A secret signature in the middle of mechanical intensity.

This is haute horlogerie with nothing to hide. Technical, expressive, and unapologetically alive.
