A note from the PRJKT8 team
We chose it because the racing sits in the movement, not in a logo on the dial: suspension bridges, a helmet on the back, an A110 wheel for a rotor. And it arrives with its pit-lane partner, the Mechanics Edition, in one case. A driver and a mechanic, as it should be, and a pair worth keeping together.PRJKT8
Alpine’s drivers asked Moser for a watch as sharp as their single-seaters. The answer is a Streamliner chronograph with the dial taken away, so the movement is the face.
The racing is built into the metal: two V-shaped bridges after single-seater suspension, a central bridge on the back shaped like a helmet, and a dial-side rotor drawn from the wheel rim of the Alpine A110. Chronograph minutes and seconds run from the centre, and the flyback restarts a timing with one press.
Moser calls the HMC 700, developed with Agenhor, its first skeletonised chronograph movement. Automatic, 72 hours of power reserve, in a 42.3 mm steel case with a blue PVD treatment, water resistant to 120 m.
Limited to 200 pieces, each sold in one case with the Streamliner Alpine Mechanics Edition.
