We chose it because it is a tourbillon that refuses to be solemn. Orange fumé, turquoise lume and a turquoise rubber strap on the outside; at 6 o’clock, a flying tourbillon with Moser’s double hairspring doing serious work. It is 40 mm of steel, water resistant to 120 m, and happy to be worn at the weekend.PRJKT8
On this Spiced Aqua the orange takes the dial: orange fumé with a sunburst finish, inside a turquoise flange that glows in the dark. There is no logo and no index, so nothing competes with the colour.
At 6 o’clock a one-minute flying tourbillon turns under a skeletonised bridge, fitted with Moser’s own double hairspring. The leaf-shaped hands carry the same turquoise Super-LumiNova® as the flange, so after dark it reads in one cool colour. The strap is turquoise rubber.
The 40 mm steel case is 12.0 mm with its domed sapphire and water resistant to 120 m. Through the caseback, the automatic HMC 805 winds via an openworked 18K red gold rotor and runs for at least 72 hours.
