Grey Pepper is the quiet one: a matt grey front that sits as easily next to concrete and stone as it does in a study. The letters are laser cut through the steel, so when the time lights up, the words seem to float a little in front of the wall.
The front is stainless steel with a matt coating and a fine texture, and the grey changes slightly as the light moves across it. It is held on by magnets, so it can later be swapped for another finish or language; Arabic fronts swap only within Arabic.
The clock is the EARTH 45: 450 mm square, 22 mm deep and about 4.8 kg, powered over USB and accurate to ±8 seconds a month, with a sensor that sets the brightness to the room.
