[SUPER]FREAK

The Ulysse Nardin [SUPER]FREAK is not just the next chapter in the Freak story. It is the most complicated time-only watch the Maison has ever created.

Developed over four years and built around the new manufacture Calibre UN-252, the [SUPER]FREAK brings together 25 years of Freak innovation into one radical machine. Its flying carousel movement carries two 10°-inclined flying tourbillons rotating in opposite directions, while introducing something never before seen in a Freak: a seconds display. The result is the world’s first automatic double tourbillon that is also a carousel.

Comprising 511 components and powered by Ulysse Nardin’s patented Grinder® automatic winding system, the [SUPER]FREAK is a showcase of mechanical invention, material innovation, and serious hand-finishing. More than 97% of the movement is in motion, over 70% of its components are finished by hand, and each piece is assembled start to finish by a single Grandes Complications watchmaker.

Housed in a 44mm white gold case with a blue Nanosital® hour disc, twin DIAMonSIL escapements, a patented gimbal system, and the world’s smallest differential, the [SUPER]FREAK pushes the Freak concept further than ever before. Limited to just 50 pieces, this is Ulysse Nardin at its most technical, most theatrical, and most unapologetically advanced.
