TYPE 9 Jules Wittock Emerald Green

The TYPE 9 Jules Wittock Emerald Green turns Ressence’s orbital display into a kinetic labyrinth. Wittock’s freehand maze is milled into the Grade 5 titanium dial in 0.2 mm lines, then filled by hand with white lacquer and Grade A Super-LumiNova®. Its Emerald Green ALD coating shifts towards purple as the viewing angle changes. The orbiting discs continually redraw the composition, aligning only at midday and midnight to expose the maze’s concealed message.

Ressence’s patented ROCS 9 module drives the display from the minute axle of a customised automatic calibre, replacing conventional hands with rotating hours and minutes. The main dial runs on a jewel ball bearing, while the eccentric hour satellite rolls on inclined jewel bearings at 9.75°. The polished 39 mm Grade 5 titanium case weighs 42 grams with its strap and uses the caseback for winding and setting. Limited to 30 pieces, the JWE makes colour, motion and mechanical logic inseparable.
