A note from the PRJKT8 team
We chose it for the colour. Green on titanium is easy to get wrong, and Ressence matched this one to the metal, bezel included. Underneath is the full TYPE 7, with a GMT, a bracelet and an oil-filled dial. The one to pick when black feels too serious.PRJKT8
Cactus is the warm TYPE 7. Ressence tuned its green to sit against the slightly warmer tone of Grade 5 titanium, and matched the ceramic bezel to the dial.
The case and integrated bracelet are glass-pearled, a soft matt finish that keeps the green from shouting. Under the double-domed sapphire, 2.95 ml of oil lifts the discs to the crystal: hours, minutes, a second time zone, a runner that turns every 120 seconds, and an oil temperature reading by colour.
With no crown, it is wound and set through the caseback, which Ressence’s RCLS then locks. A customised self-winding calibre drives the ROCS 7 module magnetically, with 36 hours of reserve. 41 mm by 14 mm, water resistant to 5 ATM.
