We chose it for the black. Silberstein’s red triangle, white arrow and yellow serpentine usually share a bright dial; here they sit on matt black inside a blue ring, and they look sharper for it. It is a regulator, so each hand has its own place. Light titanium, 40 mm, and 178 made.PRJKT8
Most of Alain Silberstein’s regulators for Louis Erard are bright from edge to edge. This one is matt black inside a blue flange, and his red, white and yellow hands stand out all the more.
A red triangle gives the hour from a matt silver counter at 12 o’clock, a large white arrow sweeps the minutes from the centre, and a small yellow serpentine hand turns the seconds at 6 o’clock. The circular-brushed blue flange carries white and red indexes.
The 40 mm case pairs microblasted Grade 2 titanium with polished Grade 5. Inside is the automatic Sellita SW266-1, with about 38 hours of power reserve, and it is water resistant to 100 m. On black nylon with a hook-and-loop fastener. Limited to 178 pieces.
