We chose it because it is the nearest most of us will get to a Vianney Halter dial, and this version lets the design speak without help. Silver, blued steel, rivets, nothing else. The regulator layout takes a day to learn and then you won’t want a normal dial back.PRJKT8
Le Régulateur II comes in several versions. This is the Worldwide edition, and it is the quiet one: a silver monochrome dial, with blued steel and a ring of red-gilt rivets for colour.
Vianney Halter drew the dial, and the regulator splits the time his way: hours in a sub-dial at 11 o’clock, seconds at 5 o’clock, minutes on the long central hand. The rhodium-plated base is brushed vertically, the rings are brushed in circles with diamond-polished chamfers, and his signature hands are all blued steel.
The 43 mm steel case carries 12 red-gilt rivets on the bezel and an offset crown at 2 o’clock with 24 more. The automatic Sellita SW266-1 runs at least 38 hours behind sapphire. Limited to 178 pieces.
On dark blue grained calf, with quick-change bars.
