We chose it because a regulator rarely gets to have this much fun. The frog’s eyes are the hours and seconds, so reading the time means meeting its gaze. Turquoise and purple make it the bold one of the pair, and the titanium case keeps all that character light on the wrist.PRJKT8
Turquoise is the Unfrogettable with the lights turned up: cool, sharp, a little surreal, and a much brighter mood than its brown twin.
Konstantin Chaykin built the frog out of Louis Erard’s regulator. Hours turn at 9 o’clock and seconds at 3 o’clock on rhodium-toned discs with black lacquered pupils, so the eyes never stop moving, while an arrow-shaped minute hand runs across the middle. Light turquoise grained base, dark turquoise counters, an outer ring of dark turquoise over purple; SLN C5 gives it green night vision.
40 mm of brushed and polished Grade 5 titanium, with a polished titanium winding crown at 12 o’clock shaped like the real thing. Automatic Sellita SW266-1 regulator, about 38 hours. Limited to 178 pieces.
